Do you Tweet? Online marketing is a must in today's market.

OK, after reading the title of this blog you may be asking yourself, "Do I what?"

But if you are, you may need to get with the times!

So I am going to be launching a series of blogs that will deal with all aspects of online marketing. And one of these tools is Twitter, if you haven't already heard of it, you likely will because there are millions of people using it. And one thing we know is that if you want to sell a product you need to go where the people are. So, if you have not yet been tweeting, might I suggest you start? Look for a blog coming up soon on tweeting.

There are a number of other good social networking tools out there as well, and all the major corporations are using them as well. Facebook, MySpace, Digg, Squidoo, Press Releases, Banner Marketing, Blogging, You Tube, Free Classifieds ... and the list goes on.

Don't overwhelm yourself with all of these at once ... pick one and master it, then move on to another. After a time you will have many under your belt and you will find that your leads are rolling in.

There is another important aspect to online marketing, and that is branding. So before you begin any of these strategies, you will need to figure out how you want to brand yourself. We will examine this process in the first blog of our series, set to premiere here this week.
